A Dutch-German development cooperation

Leschaco’s new chemicals and dangerous goods warehouse in Malaysia, which it founded last year, is up and running. The German company’s next move has been to sign a lease with the Dutch industrial developer DHG (David Hart Group), which was founded by the racing driver in 1997, for an ADR facility in Moerdijk, Netherlands.

Situated between the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp, the new facility is scheduled to be ready in Q3/2023. The new chemical logistics centre has access to the waterways of the Rhine and the Meuse with daily barge traffic to and from the seaports. Two public rail terminals are also nearby.

The warehouse offers space for approximately 45,000 pallets on an area of 29,000 sqm and will be divided into five sections. Four of them are equipped with carbon extinguishing systems, specifically designed for the storage of chemicals and dangerous goods, while the fifth is for the storage of general cargo and is equipped with ESFR sprinklers.
