A new board member for Birsterminal
Hans-Peter Hadorn has joined the board of the multipurpose stevedoring, warehousing and multimodal Rhine barge and rail operator Birsterminal in the Swiss Rhine Ports at Basel / Birsfelden. He returns to the port industry after having retired from the Swiss Rhine Ports, where he served as CEO for more than 15 years. Prior to that, Hadorn was a member of the management team at SBB Cargo, Swiss Rails’ cargo division.
Birsterminal can count on his proven expertise and experience to help ensure the secure and sustainable development of its trimodal cargo handling terminal and to promote its intermodal barge and rail services that connect Switzerland with both the seaports of Antwerp and Rotterdam and the national transport network.
