DHL Global Forwarding has inaugurated its new transhipment hub and South African head office in Johannesburg. Located in the Sky Park Industrial Estate close to “OR Tambo International Airport”, the facility has temperature-controlled chambers and a Good Distribution Practice (GDP)-certification. It is to serve Africa’s rapidly advancing life sciences and healthcare (LSH) sector for which an annual growth rate of 6.3% and revenues of EUR 7.1 billion by 2023 are anticipated.
