A UK first for Cargo-Partner
Cargo-Partner has opened its first ever warehouse in the UK. Situated in Basildon, the 4,460 sqm site marks an important milestone for the Austrian logistics provider and features capacity for pallet storage, commissioning, packing, and storage. Seven new employees will be working at the site, running the operations using previous expertise.
Cargo-Partner, which already runs a handful of hubs in Manchester, Bradford, and London, now has its own storage facility to complement this network. The company also has a presence in Dublin, which gives it access to both countries in the Isles. The expansion is part of the company’s strategy to venture into new markets in Western Europe. It recently launched new operations in Spain and Italy as well. (mk)
