AD Ports Groups names Jochen Thewes as logistics CEO
AD Ports Group has appointed Jochen Thewes as CEO of its logistics cluster, effective 1 December 2025, as part of its strategy to position the division among the world's top global logistics providers. Thewes brings extensive international experience, including nearly a decade as CEO and chairman of Deutsche Bahn's DB Schenker, a leading logistics company with EUR 19.2 billion in revenue in 2024.
His leadership will focus on transforming AD Ports' largest group in terms of global reach, building on the success of Noatum Logistics and unlocking the full potential of its integrated trade and logistics ecosystem. The appointment underscores the Group's rapid growth, with revenues multiplying fivefold and profits quadrupling from 2020 to 2024, as it aims to strengthen its global footprint and deliver enhanced value to partners and customers.
