Aeronautical services upgrade in French Guiana
Marseille Gyptis International (MGI) is modernising its aeronautical services in French Guiana through a strategic partnership with CIN France and with support from GIP+. The deployment begins on 1 December, aiming to strengthen control, security and the smooth flow of freight between France métropolitaine and French Guiana, which faces unique logistical challenges as the only border region outside the EU.
With over ten years of experience in the territory through projects like Ci5 and Airport+, MGI and GIP+ have a deep understanding of local logistics and regulatory needs. Their collaboration combines CIN's expertise from 17 French airports with MGI's regional coordination skills, enabling more cohesive customs processes, streamlined management for operators and the modernisation of the air cargo community system. This ensures a reliable, standard-compliant solution tailored to the specific operational realities of French Guiana, improving the efficiency, security and continuity of aeronautical freight flows and supporting the territory's strategic connectivity.
