AGCS names new executive team
Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE (AGCS), Allianz's industrial insurer, has appointed Martin Zschech as the new head of market management, and Volker Dierks as the new head of marine underwriting for Central and Eastern Europe, with a focus on the German, Swiss and Austrian markets.
Zschech will replace Hans-Jörg Mauthe on 1 June 2019. The latter was named AGCS regional CEO for Central and Eastern Europe on 1 April. Dierks, the previous chief marine hull underwriter, succeeds Bernd Meyer, who will take on a new challenge outside the company.
The post of chief marine hull underwriter is being shouldered by Justus Heinrich, who most recently served as senior marine hull underwriter in Hamburg. The name of a successor for Zschech, head of financial lines CEE, will be announced at a later date. (mw)
