                        Amazon boosts Indian logistics network
Amazon is investing over USD 233 million in 2025 to expand and upgrade its logistics infrastructure in India.
The funds aim to improve fulfilment speed or processing capacity, sorting and delivery. The company also wants to enhance employee well-being through programmes like Ashray (rest areas for delivery staff), Samridhi (financial wellness programme), and health services.
Amazon will also upgrade technology to optimise delivery routes, verify safety measures such as helmet use, and improve navigation for complex addresses. The investment supports Amazon’s long-term strategy to serve all serviceable pin codes in India. (js)
