Americold realigns executive to grow
Americold has announced key leadership changes to support its strategy of driving operational excellence and expanding its global reach.
Rob Chambers, previously president for the Americas, has become president with global operational oversight. He joined Americold in 2012 and has held senior finance and commercial roles.
Bryan Verbarendse, who joined in 2023, takes over as president for the Americas, following senior supply chain roles at Albertsons and Supervalu.
Richard Winnall, president for international business, now co-leads global commercial and operations committees, promoting aligned KPIs and cross-regional growth.
CEO George Chappelle said the changes aim to accelerate strategic execution in various regions. The announcement follows Americold’s reaffirmation of its 2025 financial guidance and supports its ongoing customer-focused growth plans in North and South America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and beyond. (ah)
