Anick Métivier appointed president of Trois-Rivières port
Anick Métivier has been appointed president and CEO of the Trois-Rivières Port Authority (TRPA), succeeding Gaétan Boivin, who served for 19 years. With over 30 years of port industry experience, Métivier joins with a strong background in operations, business development and sustainability. Since 2021, he has been vice-president of strategic development at TRPA, contributing to key projects like the reconstruction of terminals 16 and 17 and advancing the Cap sur 2030 strategic plan.
Métivier's leadership is expected to further modernise and develop the port as a driver of regional economic and energy transformation, emphasising collaboration and concrete action. The board's chair, Véronique Néron, expressed confidence in his proven expertise and leadership, while thanking Boivin for his dedicated service and wishing him well in retirement.
