Arvato consolidates SBD in Shanghai
Arvato has expanded its partnership with Stanley Black & Decker (SBD) by implementing an integrated logistics solution at a new site in Jinshan Logistics Park, Shanghai.
According to the company the project consolidates four previously separate warehouses into a single location, significantly reducing process complexity and improving efficiency. Arvato now manages inbound and outbound logistics, inventory and value-added services such as kitting, bundling and labelling for all SBD brands in China, including Stanley, DeWalt, Black+Decker, Irwin, Lenox, Facom, Proto, Bostitch and MTD.
The site handles a wide product range from tools and accessories to spare parts for after-sales. Li Zhang, head of China at Arvato, said the centralised, technology-driven system improves efficiency, transparency and scalability, supporting SBD’s long-term growth in China and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
