Asky launches services to South Africa


The Pan-African Airline Asky will launch daily flights from its Lomé (Togo) hub to Johannesburg, beginning tomorrow, 15 June 2019. South Africa's financial and economic capital will be connected to Asky's network of 23 other destinations within west and central Africa via Douala (Cameroon) and Libreville (Gabon).

 

Douala will have three direct weekly flights to Johannesburg, and Libreville will have four direct weekly flights to Johannesburg and vice versa. Flights will be operated with its B737-800 NG aircraft.

 

Furthermore, the carrier, which has Ethiopian Airlines as its strategic partner, currently operates a fleet of five B737-700s and two Dash Q-400s, with services to 23 cities in 19 countries within Africa. (ah)
