ATC secures HALO loan for freighter expansion
AeroTransCargo (ATC) has secured a senior loan facility from Halo AirFinance to support engine procurement and aircraft expansion for its Boeing 747-400 fleet. Halo is a joint venture between GA Telesis and the Tokyo Century Corporation.
The financing will cover engine refurbishment and start-up costs for additional aircraft. ATC, a subsidiary of Air One International Holdings, operates a global cargo network, including AeroTransCargo Moldova, RomCargo Airlines and One Air in the UK. The group manages one of the world’s largest B747-400 freighter fleets and has moved over 345,000 t of cargo on more than 3,750 full charters in the last five years.
"We're proud to have earned Halo’s trust and support," said ATC chairman Guneet Mirchandani. Halo’s Marc Cho highlighted the strategic fit of the deal. Air One has offices in London, the UAE and Hong Kong. (ah)
