Baxter Freight’s ‘fast forward’ plan


Global logistics provider Baxter Freight, based in Nottingham, UK, has promoted seven logistics experts within the company, in line with its ‘fast forward’ plan, which aims to “grow turnover to more than GBP 25 million and increase employee numbers by almost a third to over 100.”

 

Lorraine Sutcliffe has been promoted to director, head of HR to spearhead the expansion and also to recruit staff for the HR and finance teams.

 

Rebecca Boulter, who becomes team leader, a newly created role, as well as Max Stanford and Ben Jeffrey, who join as team managers, customer relations, will all be working in the sales department.

 

Tom Falivena will be team leader, customs, and Wade Akhtar team leader, groupage in the operations team, which will be operational 24/7, “as part of the business’ adjustment to the post-Brexit logistics industry.”

 

And finally, Lottie Baxter, who was externally recruited to a management role, becomes team leader, marketing and communication. (amh)
