Baxter: investments and expansion in 2022
Baxter Freight in UK continues to grow. The company’s turnover for 2022 exceeded GBP 37 million (EUR 43 million), a rise of GBP 6 million (EUR 6.98 million) on the prior year, with the number of consignments increasing by 29%. Average staff numbers rose from 84 to 113, with a profit after tax of GBP 0.7 million (EUR 0.81 million).
These results reflect Baxter’s investment in digital transformation and customer service to help customers navigate the complexities of a post-Brexit world, the company said.
Baxter Freight has continued to partner with DHL Freight and Gerlach Customs, and this year worked with business academics at Nottingham Trent University to help shape its marketing strategy.
The continued growth is already enabling Baxter Freight to expand its presence in the Middle East and the Americas and to join major international transport networks such as Conqueror and Pangea. (ben)
