Bidvest in new clothes


Bidvest Panalpina Logistics unveils a fresh new look, as it announces a name change and a change in its global partner to bolster its current position as a large provider in supply chain logistics in South Africa. Bidvest Panalpina Logistics (BPL) will split from DSV/Panalpina after 46 years of commercial partnership and will in future trade as Bidvest International Logistics, effective early 2020, once all regulatory changes have been completed.

 

Bidvest International Logistics is owned by The Bidvest Group (89%) and The Makana Investment Corporation (MIC) (11%). Bidvest and MIC have been partners for the past 20 years. Bidvest International Logistics announced that it has joined forces with EMO Trans Global Logistics (EMO Trans) as its global forwarding network partner.

 

Through this exclusive agency partnership, Bidvest International Logistics’ global reach will extend to 335 network offices in over 140 countries. (mw)
