Big role for air cargo in the movies
Turkish Cargo has released three new commercial films presenting its mega hub “Smartist” and the opportunities it offers for the global economy.
Designed as the largest industrial building under a single roof at Istanbul airport and situated at a flight distance of 4 hours to over 50 countries, “Smartist” handles a wide range of products arriving from all corners of the world and distributed through Turkish Airlines' global network.
The first film describes the journey of a Barramundi, grown in South Asia and served within the same day at a restaurant in New York. The second film is set in a greengrocer counter in Tokyo and tells the story of the journey of a Kiwano, grown in Africa. The third film depicts the arrival of a valuable ceramic vase, owned by a Chinese dynasty and auctioned off in Paris. (ah)
