UK-based Unipart Group has reported its financial results for 2021. The group turnover surged by 4.2% to GBP 821.6 million (2020: GBP 786.7 million), delivering an ebitda of GBP 13.7 million (2020: GBP 19.7 million).

Last year, Unipart Logistics was contracted by both Jaguar and Land Rover to provide aftermarket parts logistics. The operation will be housed at a new 186,00 sqm campus.

In addition, the company has won two more contracts with the same customers in North America, a five-year deal to support the brand’s expansion into a new aftermarket site in New Jersey, and a three-year contract to run aftermarket customer services for the brand’s retailer network in USA and Canada.

With regards to the UN Race to Zero Campaign, the company reduced waste produced on sites by about 10%, switched to 100% renewable electricity, removed more than 8,000 t of carbon, and reduced CO2 emissions from its sites by 36%. It is Unipart’s commitment to be carbon net zero by 2050. (sh)
