Bolloré opens warehouse in Abidjan
Bolloré Transport & Logistics Cote d’Ivoire is inaugurating a modern 9,000 sqm logistics base in the airport area of Abidjan, Ivory Coast to foster the import and export of goods by air. The new infrastructure will have required 18 months of work and an investment of CFA francs 3.4 billion.
The logistics hub will include a 7,500 sqm operating area and a 3,500 sqm warehouse with equipment such as a weighbridge, a dock leveller, a palletisation system and a cold room. Further developments are planned, including building facilities for the handling of pharmaceutical products.
"Two years on from the inauguration of Aérohub, we are preparing to bring a modern infrastructure into operation to strengthen our role as a regional logistics hub,” said Joël Hounsinou, managing director of Bolloré Transport & Logistics Côte d’Ivoire. (sh)
