Boosting Kodiak production capacity

The US-based aircraft division of Daher, an industrial services provider and logistician founded in France in 1863, has launched a parallel production line for its Kodiak 100 (right, cargo version: 7 cbm of space) and Kodiak 900 (left, 8.75 cbm) multi-role utility aircraft at its manufacturing and final assembly facility in Sandpoint, ID. The production capacity targets 25 units for the current year (2023: 18).

SVP Nicolas Chabbert: "Kodiak's reputation as the 'go anywhere' utility aircraft has been further enhanced since Daher's 2019 acquisition of the product line, and its popularity continues to grow – with a current two-year order backlog."

The increased production capacity follows other improvements at Sandpoint, including the USD 2.7 million investment in an 840 sqm aircraft painting facility. (ah)
