BSK appoints Dierk Hochgesang to board
The German Federal Association of Heavy Transport and Crane Work (BSK) has appointed Dierk Hochgesang to its management board, effective 1 November 2025. He will succeed Helmut Schgeiner as managing director on 1 January 2026, following Schgeiner’s decision not to renew his contract after four years in office.
BSK supervisory board chairman Andreas Kahl thanked Schgeiner for his commitment and said: "With Dierk Hochgesang, we have gained an experienced association leader who will continue to advance the interests of the heavy transport and crane sector."
Hochgesang previously served as managing director of both the German Association of Furniture Forwarders (AMÖ) and the SVG Cooperative for Road Transport. (ah)
