Burghausen terminal with new operator

In Bavaria's Burghausen a new public terminal for combined transport is being erected. The Burghausen cargo traffic centre is operated by a group consisting of DB Schenker BTT, which specialises in the chemicals/mineral oil/fertiliser logistics area, the German terminal operator DUSS and the silo logistician Karl Schmidt Spedition. The completion of the terminal is planned for the end of 2013 and commissioning for spring 2014. The EUR 30 million cargo centre has four rails, two holding tracks and a portal crane. (ben)
