Cargo Gulf links Middle East with Asian markets

The Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) Cargo Gulf, established in 1985, now operates a new Arab Gulf-Indian Subcontinent liner service (AGISC), linking Pakistan and India directly to markets in the upper Persian Gulf.

It complements the company’s existing services connecting Europe, the Middle East and Asia and offers an alternative for customers in Karachi in Pakistan, as well as Kandla, Mundra and Nhava Sheva in India, with shipments to/from Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Hans Henrik Nielsen, Cargo Gulf’s global development director, said: “The service goes direct to/from Jubail and Damman in Saudi Arabia, as well as Bahrain. For easy access to the vibrant markets of the United Arab Emirates, it can connect seamlessly with Khalifa and Jebel Ali."

Business in these trade lanes is served by Cargo Gulf’s own containers, slot charter agreements with vessel operators and its own bills of lading. The company also has its own stack at all ports covered with delivery orders released by GAC offices. (mw)
