Cargo is worth the risk of congestion

Is it due to its experienced cargo GSA Kales Group, that soon to be launched Norse Atlantic Airways has changed its initial plans? The low-cost transatlantic start-up headquartered in Arendal, Norway, will operate its first commercial flight from Oslo to New York on 14 June 2022.

After announcing to land on Stewart airport (SWF), about 100 km north of Manhattan, the carrier now told local media that "prerequisites are not yet in place for it to carry cargo". Subsequently, Norse will fly to JFK.

In the Los Angeles area too, the airline switches from Ontario airport (ONT) which however has confirmed its cargo capabilities, to LAX, starting on 9 August. Other US destinations are in Florida, but Fort Lauderdale (starting 18 June) and Orlando (5 July) are less important cargo gateways than Miami. (ah)
