Cargo-Partner's second Greek location
The team of Cargo-Partner, a freight forwarder based in Austria, has extended its network in Greece 500 km further south.
Six months after the company first gained a foothold with an office in Thessaloniki, a second office has now been opened in the port of Piraeus near Athens. Piraeus, a pillar of China's New Silk Road, is the largest port in Greece and the second largest port in the Mediterranean. In 2021, 5.3 million teu of cargo were handled here.
The Cargo-Partner team offers comprehensive services in sea, air and road transport, with a special focus on FCL and LCL solutions by sea freight. In temperature-controlled transport, the focus is on foodstuffs such as fruit and vegetables, which make up a large part of Greek exports. Other important export goods are construction materials, pharmaceuticals, machinery, aluminium and plastics. (sh)
