Certifications and talks in Hamburg

The Altenwerder container terminal operated by Hamburger Hafen und Logistik (HHLA) in Hamburg has further reduced its carbon emissions. TÜV Nord, which certified the facility’s climate neutrality for the first time in 2019, has now reconfirmed its rating. The terminal operator intends to be climate-neutral by 2040.

No further news was released on the negotiations with terminal operators Eurokai and BLG Logistics Group concerning cooperation in the container business. Furthermore, there is current debate in the senate of Hamburg on the increased salary payments of HHLA's CEO Angela Titzrath. (mw)
