CEX links China and Wilhelmshaven directly
The first China–Europe Express (CEX) railway recently departed from Ningbo (China) and is now en route to Wilhelmshaven (Germany). Its arrival at the JadeWeserPort (JWP) after a 26-day journey is expected on 24 January.
The initiator of this new connection is the Zhejiang Seaport Logistics Group. The service will be offered exclusively as a direct route. The start of a continuous China–Europe Express schedule is planned for mid-2025. The goal is to efficiently connect the European hinterland, including the Central European Logistics and Industrial Zone (CECZ) in Hungary, through the trimodal connectivity of the JWP. (ben)
