CFL cargo changing leader in 2014
Marc Polini will become the new director general of the Luxembourg-based railfreight company CFL cargo on 1 January 2014. He succeeds Fernand Rippinger, who formerly served Arcelor until his appointment as director general of CFL cargo in 2006. The railway was created as a joint venture between CFL and ArcelorMittal. Polini, a trained engineer, has worked for CFL Cargo and its forerunner since 1999. A citizen of Luxembourg, Polini managed the firm’s workshop in Petingen up to 2012, and was responsible for marketing the cargo haulage company between 2006 and 2010.
