Champ Cargosystems has appointed Gianluca Marcangelo as vice president of Neo Program Engagement. In this pivotal role, he will lead customer engagement and facilitate the transition to the next-generation cargo management solution, Cargospot neo.
With over 25 years of experience in airfreight and logistics, Marcangelo has a proven track record in digital innovation and operational transformation. His career highlights include leadership positions at Oman Air and the Challenge Group, where he contributed to significant projects and industry initiatives. His expertise will be instrumental in guiding airlines through their digital transformation and maximising the benefits of Cargospot neo and the larger Champ digital portfolio. Nicholas Xenocostas, Champ's chief commercial officer, emphasised that Marcangelo's leadership will advance Champ's commitment to digitalisation and operational efficiency for their airline partners.
