Chapman Freeborn partners Optimus

Chapman Freeborn has signed a strategic agreement with the Optimus Logistics Group to streamline aircraft repositioning and reduce related costs. The partnership covers Chapman Freeborn’s global fleet and builds on their collaboration since 2021.

According to David Selby, commercial manager for flight support, the new service integrates “permits to pilots, tracking to touchdown” into a more efficient offering. Optimus founder and president Marshall Frantz (photo), who has handled over USD 50 billion in assets during his 20-year career, aims to set "a new standard" in ferrying services.

The deal forms part of Chapman Freeborn’s broader expansion, which includes restructuring its cargo operations and launching a music and entertainment unit in Europe. (ah)
