Chep names Campe head of automotive
The international pooling services provider Chep has appointed Christophe Campe as the head of its automotive business in Europe and North America, effective 15 April. He succeeded Murray Gilder, now country general manager for the UK and Ireland.
Campe brings over 30 years of Chep experience with him, including roles as finance director, country GM and most recently SVP for the European supply chain. He sees opportunities in addressing OEMs’ needs for agile and sustainable packaging amid shifts toward electrification, autonomy and connected mobility.
CEO Helen Lane praised his expertise as key to driving growth. Chep’s circular 'share and reuse' model underpins its strategy to build resilient automotive supply networks across the Atlantic. (ah)
