China Airlines Cargo to launch Indian maindeck destination

Starting tomorrow, 16 November 2019, Taiwan's China Airlines is to launch a freighter service from Mumbai (India) operating four flights a week, two per week coming from Taipei (Taiwan) to Mumbai and going forward to Amsterdam (the Netherlands), and two per week coming from Amsterdam and going to Taipei.

The new service comes after the airline has been operating in the Delhi market for 20 years. Group Concorde, which has been the airline's GSA in India during this time, will also be in charge of sales in Mumbai. The company expects that operations will focus on active and passive pharma after Mumbai became the first airport in India and third in Asia to achieve Iata CEIV Pharma certification in April. At the same time, China Airlines Cargo got certified too. (ah)
