China-Service to the Black Sea launched
Trans Container has launched a new multimodal service for transporting import cargo from China to the Rostov and Krasnodar Regions near the Russian Black Sea coast.
The service is focused on the shipment of consumer goods for the needs of Russian small, medium-sized, and large enterprises, the company said.
Trans Container provides its own equipment and arranges for sea-leg transportation as well as railfreight and road haulage services within Russia. The company plans to dispatch two to four trains a month. The sea voyage from Taicang, Ningbo and Dalian will take four days, followed by 12 days by train. (ben)
