China–UAE auto link
AD Ports group and China’s SPG Yantai Port have signed a preliminary strategic agreement to develop green automotive industrial parks. The partnership aims to create a China–Middle East–Africa automotive logistics corridor, combining infrastructure and expertise to support trade in new and second-hand vehicles as AD Ports reported. The plan includes linking the 'Asia-Pacific green automotive circular economy industrial park' in Yantai with AD Ports’ automotive hubs in the UAE and other markets.
Both parties will explore joint auto hubs using AI-driven technology to improve efficiency. The initiative also considers sustainable energy integration, drawing on SPG’s energy infrastructure and AD Ports’ position as a hub in the Middle East. Captain Ammar Al Shaiba, CEO of AD Ports’ maritime & shipping cluster, said the agreement reflects the partners’ vision of strengthening trade links between China and the UAE. (js)
