Chris Hines appointed CEO of Repowr
Repowr has named Chris Hines as its new chief executive officer.
Hines brings more than 38 years of experience in transportation and technology to the B2B trailer-sharing platform with him. His previous roles include president of GE Capital/TIP, president/COO at Celadon Group, and executive leadership at Zonar Systems. He has also worked extensively in transportation tech M&A and start-ups.
“Repowr is at the forefront of revolutionising the trailer-sharing space, and I am excited to join this dynamic team,” Hines said.
Repowr, from Chattanooga TN (USA), connects shippers, brokers and fleets via a platform designed to improve trailer utilisation and reduce costs. The company has facilitated over 20,000 interchanges and unlocked more than 40,000 trailers to date.
“Chris’ experience and leadership will be key to our next phase of growth,” said Repowr co-founder Patrick Visintainer. Hines will lead Repowr’s efforts to expand its customer base and further scale its operations.
