Cincinnati airport opens cargo maintenance hangar

FEAM Aero, a major aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul company founded in 1992 and headquartered in Miami, FL (USA), opened its new 9,570-sqm USD19 million hangar last week at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), where it has been operating since 2015.

The facility opening creates more than 100 high-paying aircraft mechanic jobs and supports the growing global logistics network at the airport.

John Dietrich (second from right), president and CEO, Atlas Air Worldwide, which operates full freighters based at CVG for Amazon: "Our team is committed to the highest levels of safety, reliability and customer service. The new FEAM maintenance facility in CVG will greatly enhance our ability to support our fleet and deliver the highest level of service for our customers." (ah)
