ClassNK integration for Accelleron
The Swiss marine technology provider Accelleron has enabled direct reporting from its 'Tekomar Xpert' emissions module to the 'ClassNK MRV Portal', allowing shipping companies to submit verified EU MRV and IMO DCS reports at the click of a button.
This integration reduces manual work for both shipowners and verifiers, while speeding up feedback on data quality.
The Japanese classification society thus became the second major verification portal connected to 'Tekomar Xpert', after the China Classification Society. With around 6,000 vessels verified under IMO DCS, ClassNK users can now benefit from seamless cross-platform submission.
"This is not just a feature, but a step toward smoother digital collaboration," said Shailesh Shirsekar, Accelleron’s global head of digital sales. The move highlights Accelleron’s strategy to simplify compliance amid increasing emissions reporting demands. (ah)
