CMA CGM optimises Latin America trade
CMA CGM is enhancing its Asia–Mexico–South America service portfolio with major updates to three loops. The M2X service will now include a direct call at Buenaventura and improved access to West Coast Central America via new MAYA loops, connecting Balboa, Corinto, Puerto Caldera and others.
The ACSA1 service reverses its rotation and adds San Antonio as its first South American call, cutting transit times to Chile. A new M2A loop links ports in northern and central China directly with Ensenada, Buenaventura, Guayaquil and Chancay.
These changes, effective mid-May, are aimed at boosting reliability, weekly frequency, and efficiency, especially for reefer cargo from Ecuador. CMA CGM continues to expand its presence in the Asia–Latin America corridor with faster, more flexible service options. (ah)
