Codognotto and Vectorys in tandem

Aiming to expand its service portfolio in North Africa-Europe, the Italy-headquartered forwarding and logistics group Codognotto has inked an agreement with the Vectorys Group, a Tunesia-based multinational company specialising in transport and logistics services in North Africa.

The agreement was signed at the Vectorys Tunis office by Nabgha Salem, president and Fabio Mandirola, general manager of the Vectorys Group, and Marco Manfredini, operations general manager of the Codognotto Group.

The aim of this strategic alliance is to develop transport and logistics services between Europe and North Africa by matching networks, markets, and mutual experience.

The Codognotto Group's own network covers thirteen West and Central European countries, plus new openings in Turkey and Lithuania that are planned for 2023. The Vectorys Group specialises in Europe and North Africa, with a strong presence in Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Malta, Italy, France, and Spain.

“With this strategic agreement we lay the foundations for a long-term collaboration that will allow the Codognotto Group to add North Africa to the portfolio of solutions that already serve all of Europe and Turkey,” commented Manfredini. In combination, the two groups consolidate an annual turnover of approximately EUR 500 million in the logistics and transport business. (cd)
