Collett & Sons invests in Goldhofer technology
Collett & Sons Ltd., a leading British heavylift logistics company, has acquired 36 Goldhofer THP/SL-L axle lines as well as a 350-t side-travelling girder from Greiner Heavy Engineering. The handover took place during a joint installation in Memmingen, where overload tests were also carried out. This strategic investment enhances the company's technical excellence and flexibility, specialising in demanding transport solutions for infrastructure, energy and industry sectors.
The Goldhofer modules are characterised by their low weight, compact height and high versatility, making them ideal for the transport of large, heavy components with limited axle loads. In conjunction with the Greiner girder, they offer a maximum load capacity of up to 350 t and provide optimal flexibility for transporting transformers, reactors, and other large parts. This partnership marks a significant milestone in securing Collett & Sons' future and advancing its technical capabilities.
