COO Ronald Paul leaves the Port of Rotterdam

Ronald Paul, COO of the Port of Rotterdam Authority, will be retiring from the executive board in September this year, after eight years in this role. Upon request of the supervisory board, he will remain available as advisor to the port authority for another six months. Paul will thus be leaving the port operator after 35 years in its service.

Allard Castelein, CEO of the Port of Rotterdam Authority, says: “I am extraordinarily grateful to Paul for everything he has done for the port of Rotterdam over more than three decades. As COO he has made an outstanding contribution to the further professionalisation of our company and its reputation among our customers and stakeholders.”

Looking back on his time at the Port Authority, Paul says: „I have worked with a great deal of pleasure and enthusiasm for the port of Rotterdam. I feel privileged that I had the opportunity to work with so many committed colleagues, customers and business partners.” (mw)
