Creabeton upgrading with Renault Trucks
The company Creabeton, based in Rickenbach in the Swiss canton of Lucerne, has added three new Renault 'T480 TC P6x2 NLA' lorries to its fleet.
These articulated lorries will operate all over Switzerland and aim to offer comprehensive comfort for drivers. With 58 of its own 40 t trucks and around 40 sub-contracted vehicles in its fleet, the company ensures nationwide transport coverage. One-third of the fleet consists of Renault Trucks, which have been used for over 15 years.
The T480s, equipped with sleeper cabs, feature a 12.8 l inline-six engine, which produces 480 hp and 2,400 Nm torque. 'Turbo Compound' technology and an 'OptiDriver' gearbox aim to contribute to lower fuel consumption and smoother gear shifts. (js)
