Customs processes going digital
Hamburg-based IT providers Dakosy and Logward have launched a new collaboration to digitalise logistics processes.
Their first joint project is a ‘customs hub’, a tool that aims to simplify customs declarations through early planning and consolidation. It connects advantages of Logward’s no-code platform with Dakosy’s Zodiak GE customs software.
Users can pre-collect relevant data such as invoices and shipping notices on Logward’s platform and then transfer them to Zodiak at the point of customs clearance. This aims to reduce manual work and allows for client-specific workflows without programming. A live demo will be presented at the Transport Logistic trade fair in Munich (2–5 June 2025). (js)
