Daikin launches 'Planexia' telematics
Daikin Reefer has launched 'Planexia', a new telematics brand designed to redefine digital monitoring and control in the reefer container industry. The Japan-based refrigeration specialist, part of Daikin industries, developed Planexia to combine real-time data access with predictive maintenance. "Planexia advances key goals for Daikin Reefer: safe and secure transportation of produce, reduced operational costs, and the advancement of sustainable environmental solutions," said Kenji Takata, director of Daikin Reefer sales division.
According to Daikin Reefer Planexia integrates three main pillars – one-stop customer support, open innovation with data-sharing protocols, and advanced proprietary functions such as predictive diagnostics and performance detection. The system aims to deliver flexibility and efficiency while driving sustainability. (js)
