DAKO delivers wind turbine blades
DAKO Worldwide Transport has completed a major logistics project, delivering 114 wind turbine blades to the Dolores Wind Farm in Nuevo León, Mexico. The blades, each approximately 65 m long, were routed through Texas, with 33 units via Brownsville and 81 via Port Aransas, Texas.
The entire convoy process involved meticulously coordinated traffic control and precise timing to navigate challenging turns, crosswinds and the cross-border overland route. The journey was completed safely and smoothly, thanks to close cooperation with local partners and authorities, ensuring all permits, border formalities and operations went according to plan. This successful project highlights DAKO’s expertise in executing large-scale, safe, and efficient renewable energy logistics.
