Damen's dredger lands in Indonesia
Damen has delivered the inaugural CSD600 dredger to PT Dua Samudera Perkasa in Indonesia, for river maintenance in Kalimantan. This first-of-series, dismountable cutter suction dredger, part of a comprehensive package including crew training and maintenance spares, has a 250 kW cutter power and can dredge up to -16 m.
Named “Jhoni 58”, the dredger was thoroughly inspected and tested before being transported to Indonesia. The arrival of the CSD600, ready for immediate operation, marks a significant step in supporting local port industry operations. (pb)
