                        DHL adding electric-vehicle capacities
DHL is fortifying its electric vehicle (EV) logistics capabilities in Asia Pacific with the launch of three new EV centres of excellence in 2024. The hubs in China, Singapore and Indonesia will “serve as hubs, with resources for the growing EV industry,” says Fathi Tlatli, global auto-mobility sector president, DHL customer solutions and innovation.
With Asia expected to account for 63% of global EV sales over the next five years, a strong logistics network is essential, according to Tlatli. DHL plans further expansions, including in India, Japan, Malaysia and Thailand, reinforcing its commitment to net-zero emissions goals under its ‘Strategy 2030’. (js)
