DHL and Shopify cooperate
DHL Group has expanded its partnership with Shopify to simplify national and international shipping for online retailers.
The integration allows millions of Shopify merchants to access DHL’s global logistics network directly via the Shopify shipping platform. Available now in Germany and the USA, the service provides access to DHL’s delivery products worldwide.
US merchants can also use a 'delivered duty paid' option, ensuring that taxes and customs fees have been handled by the seller. This aims to improve transparency for customers and eliminates hidden costs.
Shopify president Harley Finkelstein said that "we're breaking down barriers and giving retailers the opportunity to be successful globally." The rollout will expand to European, American and Asia-Pacific markets in 2025 and 2026. (js)
