DHL, Daimler and Hylane sign EV deal

DHL Group, Daimler Truck and Hylane have signed a partnership for 30 fully electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 trucks.

The deal, announced at the Transport Logistic trade fair in Munich, marks Germany’s largest e-truck agreement this year, according to DHL. Supplied via Hylane’s 'pay per use' model, the trucks will operate in DHL’s post and parcel Germany division by mid-2026.

The eActros 600 offers up to 500 km range and up to 1,000 km daily, with recharging in mandatory driving breaks. It is powered by LFP batteries and has an electric axle. This move supports DHL’s goal of zero-emission logistics. (js)
