Dia builds 64,000 m² warehouse
Dia has begun construction of a 64,000 m² logistics centre in León, investing EUR 42 million alongside IBA Capital and Grupo Bertolín. Set to open in early 2026, the facility will support almost 200 Dia stores in Castilla y León and Asturias.
The centre has capacity for 27,600 pallets an equivalent of 150 daily truck movements. It follows Dia’s central warehouse model used in Toledo and Seville. The project is part of the company’s ‘growing every day’ strategy and aims to reinforce Dia’s activities in the region. (js)
